The Pope's Dog
2022
The Pope's Dog is a 2D animated SCAD Animation Studios short film that recounts the story of a diminutive pope and his dog that he tries to sneak into the Vatican. When the dog gets past the guards, all hell literally breaks loose.

This comical short film's look and feel was inspired by SPA Studios' Klaus. I was responsible for lighting several shots for the film using our custom Nuke rotoscoping pipeline to create the illusion of 3D volumes using lights and shadows.
